Guest Blogger Guidelines
Weāre looking for authors who have expertise in a certain field and can translate that expertise into advice thatās relevant to job seekers. Our blogs aim to provide simple, practical advice that helps job seekers take action and see results.
Technical Details
The skyās the limitāalmost. Weāre always open to creative topics, but we have a few things that weād like you to keep in mind when youāre writing for us:
1. Word Count: We try to keep our blogs relatively short. Our average is around 500 words. Weāll consider blogs that are as short as 400 words and as long as 650.
2. Content & Tone: Our goal is to offer helpful advice thatās delivered in a positive, optimistic tone. Many of our clients are either beginning a career or changing careers and we want to inspire them and take as much stress out of the process as possible. Our writing style tends to be more conversational and we try not to āpreach,ā use pretentious language, or focus on anything negative.
3. Off-Limits: We never use our blogs to plug our own services or the services of someone else. In other words, we donāt use our blogs to sell. We use them to share expertise and we hope to be seen as a resource for job seekers from all backgrounds, industries, and skill levels.
